About Teak Sandstone Pavers & Tiles, Pool Coping

Teakwood Sandstone Pavers, Tiles, Paving, Pool Coping and Crazy Paving.

These natural sandstone pavers and natural sandstone tiles have a smooth flat non-slip surface.

Natural Sandstone Pavers and Natural Sandstone Tiles available in: 500x500mm, 600x300mm and 600x400mm (all stocked). Other sizes available by request.

We recommend the following guidelines be followed with each paving application:

* 17mm Teakwood Sandstone pavers should either be layed onto an existing concrete slab OR can be layed into a crushed rock prepared base into a wet mix of sand and cement.

* 30mm Teakwood Sandstone pavers make great coping tiles and step treads or can be layed AS ABOVE or simply on a prepared sand bed.

* Teakwood like Australian sandstone can be vunerable to salt attack, we recommend if using it around a salt water pool to seal it every 6 months! Preferably we would recommend you use our Himalayan Sandstone or Ivory travertine in these circumstances.

We deliver sandstone pavers, tiles and pool coping door to door to all suburbs in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart. We also deliver to any regional area in Australia at reasonable freight rates.

INSTALLATION/MAINTENANCE

Sealing:

Teak Sandstone can be sealed with an invisible penetrating sealer to assist in the ongoing clean up of the stone.

An invisible penetrating sealer can be applied prior to grouting which will facilitate easy clean up after application of the grout.

Cleaning:

Do not use Hydrochloric acid for clean up as this can cause minerals present in the stone to react.

Maintenance:

Just sweep when needed. Teak Sandstone responds well to high pressure cleaning. A solution of mild detergent and water, can be applied prior to pressure cleaning.
